Description

The majority of the capabilities provided by tesseract-cube are defined based on CRD extensions, which do not have any external dependencies and can run in any pure Kubernetes cluster.

The main workloads in tesseract-cube are unitset and unit. Unitset is a collection of units with consistent resource and configuration information, and the unitset controller can generate a set of units based on the configuration information. Unit has a one-to-one relationship with pods, and this one-to-one relationship enables unit to manage the lifecycle of pods in a more granular way, and also enhances the ability to manage and intervene in pods. Unit realizes a more refined management of the pod lifecycle, and at the same time enhances the management and intervention capability of the pod.
